Jared helps first-generation entrepreneurs with large businesses manage their companies’ qualified retirement plans—servicing all aspects of the plans and taking time to answer questions big and small at every step of the way.

Jared holds the Series 7 Securities License and the Ohio Life and Health Insurance License.

Before joining the Gerber team, Jared graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in family financial management. There, he also served as the vice president of finance in the OSU Financial Planning Association, and as a financial counselor for Scarlet and Gray Financial, a free financial counseling service for OSU students.

Jared got hooked on finance in elementary school, when an exercise in managing personal resources (i.e., his allowance) piqued his interest. His other longstanding love is OSU football. He’s proud to say he’s been to almost every game since the early 90s—thanks in large part to his father, who taught him what it means to be a loyal Buckeye fan. One of his best memories from childhood is heading to the Shoe, cheering on the team and recapping the game with his dad on the drive home.
